We provide programs for both individuals and groups. As members of the International Society of Travel Medicine, we can provide International Certificates of Vaccination and other documentation required for your travel.
As part of your trip planning, please review the University's new International Travel Policy and remember to enter your itinerary in the new International Travel Registry.
Schedule an appointment with a travel nurse by calling 541-737-WELL (9355). Please schedule early! Our appointments fill quickly and some immunizations are given in a series that requires time.
Student appointments will be charged to their OSU account, or courtesy billed to their insurance. Failure to cancel an appointment will result in a charge for the scheduled service.
Faculty and staff fees are covered under the Occupational Medicine program at OSU for work-related travel. If necessary, a consultation with the Occupational Medicine physician is provided at no cost.
It is highly encouraged to schedule appointments well ahead of travel as appointment availability becomes limited toward the end of a term and some vaccines may require a series of injections.
In the event you do become ill while traveling, or in the year after your trip, see a clinician and inform them of your history. You may be seen at the SHS if you are still a student.
No immunizations are required for direct travel from the US to countries in Western Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, it is recommended that you be current with Tetanus, Diphtheria, Polio, and Measles/Mumps/Rubella immunizations. Hepatitis B and Hepatitis A are also highly recommended.
