Clinical Services
Students who are registered and pay the university health fee in Corvallis have access to clinical services. We offer primary care, mental health, laboratory and other services. Student Health Services bills most major health insurance companies as an in-network provider. We courtesy bill all health insurances except out-of-state Medicaid and Medicare.
Oregon Contraceptive Care allows us to provide free reproductive health care and contraceptive services to most students, regardless of gender. Students must meet income and U.S. resident criteria to be eligible.
Student Health Insurance Plan
We offer a university-sponsored health insurance plan for domestic or international students who want the best coverage at our clinics. Graduate students plans are handled through the Office of Human Resources.
Immunization Requirements
If you have questions or need assistance meeting the university’s requirements, the immunization office is available to assist at 541-737-7573.
Health Promotion
Find information and resources about sexual health, nutrition and tobacco cessation. The Collegiate Recovery Program is available for students in recovery or seeking support to reduce alcohol or substance abuse. Nutrition and substance use clinician appointments are covered by the university health fee.
Survivor Advocacy
The Center for Advocacy, Prevention & Education is available to students 24 hours a day to receive support after experiencing sexual harassment, assault, or interpersonal violence. CAPE advocates provide information to aid in informed decision-making, including information about rights and reporting options, and can help with safety planning, class accommodations, and more. Services are confidential and free.

Newport students who are registered and pay the university health fee have access to primary care at all SHS clinic locations. The health fee covers most office visits with our providers, including primary care, allergy visits, nutrition consults, substance use counseling, tobacco cessation, and more (excluding lab work or procedures)!
Getting to/from OSU Student Health in Corvallis
The Coast to Valley Express service 7 days a week between the Albany train station and Newport, with stops in Corvallis. More information about transportation around and beyond the Corvallis campus is available from the Department of Transportation.

Ecampus
Student Health Insurance Ecampus Eligibility
All Ecampus students are eligible to enroll if they meet the following criteria:
- Student is degree-seeking.
- Undergraduate students must be taking a minimum of six (6) credits.
- Graduate students must be taking a minimum of three (3) credits.
