Here's to your good health!

Oregon State’s Student Health Services (SHS) is a campus resource and service center for all matriculated students. We offer hassle-free appointments as well as immediate care for urgent medical conditions at either no cost or very reduced cost to all students.

Our goal is to add great value to the student experience and comfort in knowing that a safety net for basic healthcare exists right here on campus. Learn more about staying healthier at school.

Our clinic

We are accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, placing us among the top university health centers in the country.

The OSU health fee is included in your tuition each term, giving you access to the Student Health Services (SHS) clinics, medical advice nurse line, advocacy services and campus wellness & prevention programming. Some services incur an additional cost. It is a good idea to establish a primary care provider (physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant) of your choice early in your academic career.

Our main clinic in the Plageman Building houses the majority of our medical services, plus lab and x-ray. Appointments are encouraged, but urgent conditions can be handled on a walk-in basis.

Our clinic at Tebeau Residence Hall has two functions. We offer same-day appointments - which can be made in person, by phone or online - for minor illnesses and common ailments such as sore throats, coughs and colds, urinary tract infections, ear pain, rashes, headaches or back pain. We also provide gynecological services at this location. These appointments need to be made in advance.
