University departments can place registration holds on your student account.
The process of disallowing you to register for classes is called a "hold." Holds occur for a variety of reasons, including failure to pay fees or comply with a university requirement. A student may have holds from multiple departments. Fortunately, holds can be removed quickly once you have documented that you are in compliance.
Below is a description of the registration hold placed by Student Health Services.
HOLDS FAQS
There are different reasons that students may receive a hold on their accounts from departments at Oregon State University. See several examples on the Office of the Registrar website.
Student Health Services is responsible for monitoring student compliance with health policies.
If you fail to complete the required health forms and immunization requirements or fail to complete the TB test (if required) before the designated pre-registration period for next term's classes, Student Health Services place a hold that will prevent you from registering.
Find information in Beaver Hub and other platforms on any students holds you may have. View instructions.
Should you receive an OSU Student Health hold, call the Immunization Helpline (541-737-7573) or come directly to Student Health Services to find out why we have placed the hold and what you must do to have it removed.
