If you are unsure if physical therapy is right for you or have questions about physical therapy, consider scheduling a brief screen appointment to talk with one of our physical therapists.
Brief screens are free 10-20 minute appointments and give you the opportunity to a chance to talk with a physical therapist about your concerns and questions.
The physical therapy clinic is a part of Student Health Services @ Dixon (SHS @ Dixon) located in Dixon Recreation Center.
Enter through the west entry doors off of 26th Street and take an immediate left.
The Student Health Services @ Dixon check-in desk is on the right just pass the Recreational Services desk.
You can bring your clothes with you and change in a private room while you are in the clinic.
A brief screen appointment will consist of a conversation about your questions or concerns with a physical therapist. A brief physical assessment of how you move may be included if needed to answer your questions.
We can discuss costs of physical therapy in our clinic and insurance coverage for physical therapy.
If you are coming for an initial evaluation, your first visit will consist of a conversation with your physical therapist regarding your symptoms, functional limitations, daily activities, and goals and a physical assessment of your functional mobility.
We will identify the possible sources of your pain and functional limitations and work with you to create an individualized plan of care to address your functional limitations and help you reach your goals.
