  • Corvallis and Cascades employees and Students who are required to test should alert WVT staff that their tests need to go through the OSU electronic medical records system.

WHO NEEDS TO BE TESTED?

OSU employees and students who are required to comply with OSU’s Vaccination Program ( work or study on the Corvallis or Bend campus), and who have completed an approved vaccination exemption will be required to test for COVID-19 weekly. 

  • Corvallis and Cascades employees required to be tested must utilize a campus-based testing site. Worktime can be used to obtain the test.  

  • Corvallis and Cascades students who are required to be tested weekly should also utilize the campus testing sites. Those who are unable to access testing on campus should contact [email protected] for more information.

Fully vaccinated individuals who wish to obtain a test at an OSU location may do so.  

  • Employees who are not required to be tested will need to utilize the WVT LabDash app to receive results.  

  • Students who are not required to be tested will be able to receive their testing results through their patient portal through Student Health Services.

  • Students experiencing symptoms should not receive testing at the OSU testing sites – they should contact Student Health Services for testing. 

  • Employees experiencing symptoms should not receive testing at the OSU testing sites- they should contact their health provider for testing.

TESTING SITES

Testing on OSU’s Corvallis and Cascades campuses is being provided by Willamette Valley Toxicology (WVT). Testing is available at each of the following locations during the times listed.

Corvallis campus: SEC - OUTSIDE

    Ongoing: Testing Details/Times through January

    • Monday - Thursday: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and 3 - 5 p.m.

    • Friday: 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

     

    PLEASE NOTE:
    • Testing will be canceled all day Wednesday, 1/12/2022 and Thursday, 1/13/2022 from 9am to 1pm.
    • Testing will resume on Thursday afternoon, 1/13/2022 from 3-5pm and be open on Friday, 1/14/2022 from 9am to 1pm.

     

      If you have tested off site and now need to upload your test results, please follow the steps below:

      1. Open a web browser (a fully updated Chrome, or Edge will work best) then go to https://myhealth.oregonstate.edu.
      2. Sign into the patient portal with your OSU ONID and password.
      3. Authenticate with DUO dual factor authentication.
      4. On the left side of the screen, select ”Messages”. 
      5. Next, select ”New Message”. 
      6. Select ”Covid Test Reporting”.

       

      1. Attach your results in either PNG, JPEG, JPG, PDF, or TIFF file format. 
      2. Add a subject and message of “Covid Test Results” to the message and press “Send”.

       9. You will receive this message below, informing you that your message successfully sent.

       

      HOW DO I GET MY RESULTS?

      • Students will be notified of both negative and positive results through their Student Health Services patient portal once the results are received.  
      • If the result is positive, someone from SHS will be in contact with you to answer any questions and ensure you have all the resources you need. 
      • Corvallis and Cascades employees who are required to test will also receive positive and negative test results through their SHS patient portal.
      • Corvallis and Cascades employees who are NOT required to test, will log into their Lab Dash account to access their results at labdash.net.

      Additional Questions

      OSU will continue to conduct wastewater surveillance and genome sequencing in Corvallis, Bend and Newport locations. Testing wastewater provides OSU with another indication of the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 in the area sampled.
