UPDATE: Effective June 16, 2023, Oregon State University will no longer require proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Supporting Students

We are here to serve the students and tailor our services to their individual and population-level needs. Resources are available 24 hours a day!

IMPORTANT: Anyone with viral symptoms, sinus pressure and pain, sore throat, cough or any combination of these should self-isolate immediately. 

COVID-19 Testing

Students feeling unwell:

  • Contact OSU Student Health at 541-737-9355 or visit the patient portal to schedule a visit with one of our providers.    
  • Nurses are available to discuss your symptoms 24/7. Call 541-737-9355 to leave a message and our on-call nurse will follow up with you.

Students interested in COVID-19 testing only:

  • Self-requested PCR Testing: students can self-request testing appointment via the patient portal or by calling 541-737-9355.
    • Note: this test is a nasal specimen collected by laboratory staff and run in the clinic lab. This test is a part of a 4plex panel that tests for COVID-19, Flu A/B and RSV. Testing is not free. If you have questions about pricing, please inquire at your appointment prior to collection.
  • Self-requested Antigen Home Test Kits are available for purchase — $8 charged to your OSU student account per single test kit. Inquire at the Health Center (first floor lab reception window during business hours, no appointment needed).    

COVID-19 Vaccinations

Immunizations offer safe, effective protection from vaccine-preventable diseases. This is especially true for students living in group housing on or off campus. By reducing cases and outbreaks of significant infectious diseases, immunizations help students stay in class and achieve their academic goals. OSU Student Health offers the updated Moderna COVID19 vaccine. Call 541-737-9355 or visit your patient portal to make an appointment.
