What is it?

Sexual Assault Prevention is an interactive course that addresses the critical issues of sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking —specifically on college campuses.

The course encourages students to reflect on their personal values when it comes to relationships; uses scenarios from diverse perspectives to provide a relevant and inclusive experience; challenges harmful and demeaning language and attitudes; and provides guidance for supporting a friend who may have experienced sexual violence.

How it works

The course is part of an automated system. When it is your turn to take the course you will receive an email with login instructions and course deadlines. Please take the course before the deadline to avoid a GRADES hold.

Why do I have to take this course?                             

Oregon State University's goal is to make all OSU students aware of how sexual violence is perpetrated and also provide students with an understand on how to prevent it. As a community, it is important that we have these conversations.

All OSU students are part of our university community, and therefore part of the change that we seek to initiate with this online course. This training is one of many ways we are working to creating a healthy, safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

What happens if I do not complete each part by my specific due dates?

Failure to complete each part of the course(s) will result in a grades hold on your student account. This type of hold does not impact your ability to register for classes. The only way to lift this hold is to complete each part of the required courses. Once you complete the part of the course, the hold will be lifted from your account within 24 hours of completion.
