Regarding Health or Medical Questions

If you have a question or concern regarding your health or SHS services, please call 541-737-WELL (9355) or email a clinician using the Patient Portal. For questions after clinic hours, please contact the Advice Nurse. If you need emergency medical care, dial 911.

Regarding Your Quality of Patient Care

If you have thoughts or concerns about services you receive at SHS, we'd like to hear about them. Our goal at Student Health Services is to provide friendly, professional services to all students and to address your questions and concerns thoroughly. Of course, we appreciate compliments, but we also want to hear about any unpleasant or difficult experiences you might have so that we can respond.

If you would like to talk with someone "neutral" other than your health care provider, we encourage you to contact one of our patient advocates. The special role of patient advocate is to listen to concerns or complaints and help resolve the issues. You can also write an anonymous suggestion and leave it in one of the suggestion boxes. There are boxes in the west hallways on the first and third floors of the Plageman Building.

The Patient Care Advocate email is not for use in emergency situations or for time sensitive "follow-up" communications with your SHS clinician. If you need emergency medical care please dial 911. If you wish to speak to someone at Student Health Services regarding an urgent care situation, please come to Student Health Services, call 541-737-9355 to schedule an appointment, or call 541-737-2724 to get medical advice from the nurse (for OSU students only).

Regarding Your Online Access or Patient Portal

If you have any questions or difficulties with the Patient Portal (logging in, features, etc.) you may contact the Portal Administrator at immunizations@oregonstate.edu or by calling 541-737-7573 weekdays between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
