Around the World Destinations

You can accumulate Beaver Strides miles by walking, swimming, dancing or choosing another method to "Get Your Move On". For a list of other activities, please see the Beaver Strides Miles Conversion Chart.

The following virtual destinations correspond to different prizes you can win by tracking your physical activity throughout the term:

  • Lihue, Hawaii = 2,000 miles
  • Quito, Ecuador = 4,000 miles
  • Athens, Greece, = 6,000 miles
  • Sydney, Australia = 8,000 miles

Are you wondering how to make it "around the world" in only one term? The conversion example below will help you estimate conversions for different activities and methods for accumulating Beaver Strides miles.

 

Goal Setting

 

Do you need motivation to get moving or to live a healthier life? You will set personal goals for each week during the 10-week program with My Weekly Goals worksheet. Your goals can be as simple as drinking more water throughout the week or as complex as walking for 10 minutes three times each day for three days of the week. It is up to you to set your goals and then to decide if your goal was achieved.
