My boyfriend and I are both committed to not having sex before marriage, but lately he has been having problems with contolling his sexual desire when we are kissing or cuddling. When we've talked about it, he tells me that he is just physically "frustrated with the situation" and that I don't understand because it's not the same with women.

Is there something he or I can do to help him control his desire? How does sexual desire work with men? What might be going on physically with him when he says he's "frustrated"? Can he not just "turn off" the desires like I am able to? Please help because we are not getting married for two years and I don't want him to be desperate by then because he is so starved for sex.

Pregnancy and roller coasters

I want to try to get pregnant as soon as possible after graduation, but I also want to take a trip to Disneyland with my husband before we have kids.

Since Disneyland is more fun when there are fewer people there, I'd like to go in the autumn (say October). But if I succeed at getting pregnant during the summer (say July), I will be about three months along by then.

I know most thrill rides have warnings that say pregnant women shouldn't go on them. Is this because of a danger of miscarriage? Is it because pregnant women throw up easier? Is it because the safety bars won't fit across a large belly?

Most importantly, how pregnant do you have to be before this kind of thing is a concern? How should I adjust my plans?

I am experiencing off and on pink/red semi-mucous-y (blood) when wiping after going to the bathroom. It has been happening for about 5 months. Sometimes there is a lot and sometimes a little pink/red pigment. It first started 5 months ago for about a week just before my period. I thought it was just spotting but it continues randomly when I am not on my period. Is this normal? What do you suspect?

Life-span of sperm outside of penis

Hi I was wondering what the life-span of sperm was after ejaculation... such as on bed sheets, clothes, etc. And also the life span of sperm on a uncircumsized penis after ejaculation. And is it true that the temperature of urine can kill sperm? (i.e. peeing after you ejaculate cleans the sperm off and out of the penis?)

What is a healthy way to gain weight? I'm female, 5'1", and I normally wiegh 106. Lately because of my school and work schedule my eating patterns have changed and I've gone down to 100. Can I do weight training at the gym to gain mass? Increase calories? I don't want to gorge myself on fast food, can you offer an alternative?

Thyroid problem?

I've been getting migraines (or tension headaches - I've been told both) for a REALLY long time. I was put on medicine for them but eventually that stopped working and my headaches are back. I've been off the medicine for a couple weeks and I'm getting headaches everyday. I also have trouble sleeping, tingley fingers and feet, I'm tired a lot, and I always have a stiff neck/back, and I've gained some weight (even though I eat well and exercise). Someone suggested it sounded like I have a thyroid problem. I'm not sure it's not just end of the term, pre-graduation stress. There is a history of thyroid problems in my family. Should I have my thyroid checked? or do you think it is something more serious?

Pros/Cons of wearing Bras

I was wondering what the benefits and costs of wearing bras are? For example, I have heard that it is better to not wear bras for proper endocrine circulation. However I have also heard that it is important to wear properly fitting bras during the day and sometimes at night, to support breast tissue. Can you help clarify this for me? Thank you.

Bug Bite?

On Friday night while washing my girlfriends car at Splish Splash, on 9th st. I think I got bitten by a spider, but I am not sure. On Saturday I noticed a swollen lump on my lower back. At the center it is the size of a pin tip, you could say that there is a whole at the center. Around it the area is very very red. It was very painful at touch and seems to have a hard feel to the area that is red. When applying hot towel to it, the swelling seems to subside. Today, Monday, the red area that was hard, has seemed to go down, but the area is still very hard and painful when touched and seems to look like a bulls eyes with a dark center. Could this potentially be bad, or should I drink some benedryl and let the swelling subside?

Thank you

response to nitrates & water

Hi Spot. I was the one that had answered the question. I believe my water is fine. I understand that all tap water have some chemicals in it like nitrate as well. My original Q. was pertaining to the fact that if you just reboil normal tap water over and over again, will the "small nitrate" that is already present in there be concentrated or cause harmful effects? Thanks.

Is it safe to reboil water that has already been boiled? I've heard both sides of the story about it being safe and something like it could cause health issues due to nitrate being reheated over and over again?

Concerns about drinking and inability to acheive erection

My girlfriend and I have been dating for 9 months now. I sometimes have trouble achieving an erection when I drink too much. What causes this? My girlfriend is concerned that I'm not attracted to her. I keep assuring her that this is not the case but I don't really have an alternate explanation. Does it have something to do with the blood flow needing to circulate to my liver and kidneys?
