Alcohol and Amoxicillin
Question: Can you drink alcohol when taking amoxicillin?
Answer: You can drink alcohol while you are on the antibiotic "Amoxicillin", but it is not recommended. If you take your amoxicillin with alcohol (at the same time) it can possibly cause an upset stomach and other similar symptoms. It is best to refrain from alcohol while on antibiotics. However, if you choose to drink alcohol, you should put some time between when you take your antibiotic and consume alcohol.
