Birth control and early period
Question: I'm on birth control and I smoked weed. My period started a week early before it was supposed to start. Does the weed have anything to with it? If it is or isn't what could I do?
If it continues after my period week ends. What does that mean?
Answer: Your use of marijuana probably is not related. Irregularity in the menstrual cycle is not unheard of even on birth control. If you experience a full-blown period with heavy bleeding for more than a week, you should see your health care provider.
