1st Period after using Clomid
Question: I have stopped birth control 6 months ago and have had a no period for 4 months. OUr doc did subscribe Clomid and I have used it now for the first time. I am on day 23 after the last pill and would like to know when I am supposed to get my period? and would it be wise to first do a pregnancy test before using the next packet of Clomid and when must I do so?
Answer: If you are going to get your period, it would likely come around around days 27-30 of your cycle. If you don't get your period by then, then you can take a pregnancy test to see if you're pregnant. The other possibility is that you did not ovulate, in which case your provider may decide to up the dosage.
