Q: side affects of noraflex

A: Norflex, or orphenadrine, is used for the relief of moderate pain from injury or illness. Some side effects that may appear include: dryness of the mouth, lightheadedness and dizziness. When the dose is increased, possible adverse effects include: heart palpitation, urinary retention, blurred vision, dilation of pupils, weakness, nausea, vomiting, constipation, drowsiness, hallucinations, agitation, tremor, and gastric irritation. Infrequently, an elderly patient may experience some degree of mental confusion. These adverse reactions can usually be eliminated by reduction in dosage. --Spot (July 29, 2003)
